How to verify Favicon?

A favicon is a small icon that serves as branding for your website. Its main purpose is to help visitors locate your page easier when they have multiple tabs open.

How to record a Favicon?

Its quite easy to record a favicon using BqGenie. Follow the below steps to do so

1. Launch the recorder

2. In the BqGenie window, click on the Spy button.

3. From the verification dropdown, select action verifyFavicon.
   
   

   Open

   

   
   You will notice that the appropriate favicon will be captured(if the page has any).

4. Click on Add button besides the verification dropdown.
   The action be displayed as a recorded step.

5. Click on Save button.
   
   

Once the test is saved, simply execute the test to verify.
